This morning I am getting a haircut. What a treat after these few months being sort of stuck here. Jim would have taken me, but I like driving myself.
The weight is staying steady for now, not bad at all. The fruit didn't hurt me one bit.

Good for you getting out. Cabin fever can really get to you. You will really feel better once you get the haircut.

Sandy, I feel so much better, nice haircut. She cut it pretty much dry as I don't want to get into a shampoo chair yet.

This afternoon we saw Obama 2016, the movie. This is the second time we went. If you have not already, see it. It explains a lot of things.....

Try to go soon. It won't be in the theaters long.

Having someone who does a good haircut is a blessing. I had the same hairdresser for over 30 years and she did a great job. She retired, and now someone else in the shop is cutting my hair. She does an even better job, so I'm very pleased. I have naturally curly hair, and it's wash and wear. I shampoo it in the shower, dry it off with a towel, take my hands and stir it up a bit, and let it air dry.

I have yet to find someone who is really good to cut my hair. Going to try a different place next time.

Marylin, your hair sounds great to manage. Mine is pretty easy too, especially since I found a hairdresser a couple of years back who cuts it well CONSISTENTLY.
Sandy, keep looking for a good one. they are out there.

Right, Gigi! I've had my share of -- shall we say -- less than happy hair styles? Laughing

My hair is very fine and straight and I am blessed with several cowlicks. Sad And I don't know why they can't get it even from one side to the other. So many times I have washed my hair that evening or the next day and when I go to fix it, find that one side is a lot longer than the other. I remember when a stylist would go back over my hair and check to see if it was even. I have to ask them now to check it.

Have you had them cut it dry, or maybe have them dry it after they cut it and see how that works? I have a flat head lol. I have them thin it to lift the outer layer. I also find a good mousse helps to style it. Another product I now use is Dry Wax by ENJOY. I get a lot of body and lift that way. I rub a little into my hand and fingers then push my fingers through my hair towards the back. That stuff works wonders. My now hairdresser got me onto it. If you have fine hair, that might help you lift it a bit. These days, since my injury, I have to place my left elbow on a paper towel, on it's holder unto which I place a terry towel. Thus I hold my dryer for that side. I'm a mess Rolling Eyes Very Happy

My hairdresser checks often to be sure things are even on both sides. But she did say that people with curly hair often don't end up with things uniform on both sides. I'd guess that goes for someone with cowlicks, too. Smile
