Luckily around here I can find low carb tortillas, Flatout Bread etc. I order Carbquik on line, but mostly just eat meat and produce available in the stores. I love my Julian Bread, just ordered 7 loaves, two of them are the cocnut flour ones (1 net carb).. BTW, they have changed the #1 carb bread (has 3 carbs now, but lots more protein). I'll see how I like it.
Years a go I ordered lc brownies mix, muffin mix, Atkins bars etc. I still have some of it, should just pitch it, it's so old. I don't like sweet stuff so much anymore. That's a good thing. Now when I have the "urge", I'll have a real pastry (very, very seldom) or a piece of Walmart's Diabetic Angel food cake with strawberries and whipped cream and a nice cup of coffee.

Thanks, Sandy. Some good looking stuff there. Back in the time when there were lots of low carb things available, I wasn't really doing low carb yet. I was doing Zone, so I bought a lot of those "Balance Bars." I was commuting 1 1/4 hours one way at the time, and getting back after 11:00 p.m., so my "going home treats" were a Balance Bar, and a thermos of coffee. (One dark night, I was driving through a wooded area, and a cat dashed across the road in front of me. I braked! He made it. But the thermos and its contents were airborne with the predictable result.)
I later took a more critical look at the contents of those Balance Bars, and they dropped off my shopping list. _________________

Oh Marylin, hope the coffee had cooled down a lot by that time. _________________

Oh, yes, Gigi. It was plenty cool by that time. _________________
