As Carol mentioned on FB, shop and support labor, or something like that. Very Happy I think that's a good idea. We had no plans, but now I think we'll go up to the Outlets in Vacaville and look for a pair of slacks and at Bath and Body for lotions and handsoaps that are on sale. I always stock up when they have a special offer.

Maybe we'll stop at Lisa's for some prunes (if I can persuade Jim who thinks I should not have them). I would like to make fresh prune pancakes. They are large and for dinner. You heat the skillet, add butter and prunes (cut in half or smaller) cook to soften the prunes a bit, then add your batter to cover the bottom of the entire skillet. When done on one side, slide unto lid and turn over to finish cooking. I use Carbquik or almond flour now. It works pretty well, lots of eggs. They are like a crepe batter. "Pflaumenpfannekuchen" now that's a mouthful LOL Very Happy

Flour, eggs, a little salt, milk or almond milk and vanilla flavoring.

Got the plums. Now I am too pooped to make the pancakes. We stopped at Denny's for an omlet, always get salad instead of the stuff they serve with it. It was all I ate today and now I am stuffed. We bought the handwash and two candles on sale. After that I had no desire to shop for pants at Coldwater Creek. All the way back we took the country roads. Rt 80 was packed (people coming home from Tahoe, Reno and Northern Cal) . Good thing we know our way around and can avoid the traffic.
