Ingredients
2 pounds asparagus, trimmed and peeled; 4 T butter, melted; salt and pepper, 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Blanch aspargus and drain, Arrange in shallow serving dish. Pour melted butter over and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spoon cheese evenly over the top and bake for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Very elegant and delcious.
Cook any amount of asparagus until tender. Lay out a thin slice of precooked ham, put a thin slice of swiss cheese on top of ham, lay 3-4 asparagus spears depending on thickness on ham and cheese crossways. Roll up and secure with toothpick. Bake in 400 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and ham heated. Great eaten hot or cold.
