Wilted Cabbage salas
Status: Approved
NameWilted Cabbage salas
CategorySalad
DifficultyEasy
Ingredients
1 Cabbage
1 oz of crumbles bacon
1/4 cup of chopped onion
3 tbsp of cream
1 tbsp of lemon juice
dash of salt
1/4 cup of water
Directions
Step: 11 Cabbage
1 oz of crumbles bacon
1/4 cup of chopped onion
3 tbsp of cream
1 tbsp of lemon juice
dash of salt
1/4 cup of water
Take cabbage and core and cut into 1"pieces. Add to a microwave bowl, along with the water and dash of salt. Cover with saran wrap and microwave on high for 5 minutes.

While that is in the microwave, brown up bacon and onion until bacon is crispy, (save a lil bit of bacon grease to add later) and crumble up bacon. Add bacon, onion and a lil bacon grease to the cabbage, mix well.

Take the same pan that you cooked the bacon in, and add the cream and lemon juice till it boils and thickens a lil bit, add to the cabbage salad, and stir til well mixed.

To serve leftovers, put the salad back into the microwave, and heat for 3 minutes, on high, or until the salad is warm.
