Ingredients
1 C. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 t. oil
1/4 t. garlic salt
1/8 t. dried dillweed
4 C. Lettuce, shredded
6-8 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1 C. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 C. walnuts, coarsely chopped
1 t. oil
1/4 t. garlic salt
1/8 t. dried dillweed
4 C. Lettuce, shredded
6-8 Cherry Tomatoes, halved
1 C. Chick Peas, drained
3/4 C. Mayo
1/2 C. Sour Cream
1 T. Lemon Juice
1 t. Mustard
1/2 t. salt
Directions
Step: 1In a small saucepan, cover the walnuts with water and bring to a boil. Cook 3 minutes. Remove from heat and drain. Combine the nuts, oil, garlic salt & dillweed in a bowl. Place on a baking sheet and toast in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Cool. In a 2 qt. salad bowl layer the ingredients in the following order; nuts, lettuce, tomato, cheese and peas. Set aside. Ina bowl, mix mayo and remaining ingredients. Spread this evenly on top of the vegetables. Cover an refrigerate for at least 8 hours. Toss right before serving.
