Creamy Pork Chops
Status: Approved
NameCreamy Pork Chops
CategoryPork
Serves/Yields2 - 3, depending on the number and size of the pork chops
SourceSubmitted By: Annie
DifficultyEasy
Prep. Time45 minutes
Ingredients
4-6 pork chops, any cut you like
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 Tbsp cajun seasoning

3/4 cup heavy cream (you may use more if you like more sauce)
Directions
Step: 1Heat oil in heavy skillet and add in the cajun seasoning until it starts to pop. Brown chops in the seasoning and remove. Pour cream into the pan and heat, stirring to loosen the bits on the bottom of the pan. Place the chops back into the cream mixture, cover, and let simmer for about 30 minutes, occasionally turning the chops to keep them covered with the sauce.

I like to serve them with asparagus spears or broccoli and drizzle the vegetables with the sauce.

I love this recipe!!! The chops were so tender and tasty. I made cheesy mashed potatoes to go with this and I felt like I was eating a wonderful meal that only people "not on a diet" could eat.

These are AWESOME. I normally don't like pork chops because mine always come out dry and tasteless but these were the polar opposite of that. My husband and I can't get enough.
