Zero Carb Apple Cinnamon Panca
Status: Approved
NameZero Carb Apple Cinnamon Panca
CategoryBreakfast
SourceSarah in Petaluma
DifficultyEasy
Ingredients
3 scoops of Universal Soy Pro Powder - apple cinnamon flavor
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups of water flavored with 1 apple cinnamon herbal tea bag
(make tea like normal with water - let cool before blending - you don't want to cook the eggs in the blender! I use Bigelow brand tea bags but I don't think it matters which one you use.
Directions
Step: 1 Put all the ingredients in a blender and blend. For extra fun I add a few shakes of ground cinnamon while its blending. Cook like you would normal pancakes. I love these with keto or ketogenics maple syrup. They don't really have a true "cakey" texture but to be honest I love these and have always hated normal pancakes ever since I can remember because they get soggy. This recipe is on the container of Soy Pro but I improved it to give it more flavor. Incidentally I tried this substituting Keto shake banana flavor to have "banana pancakes" and it just didn't taste good or hold a pancake shape. I think this might work with soy shake powders but not whey based ones. If anyone finds another protein powder pancake recipe please post it so I can try it too. This is a great induction recipe - other pancake mixes I've seen advertised have carbs to be counted - this powder has none and eggs have almost none so you really wouln't have to limit yourself on this one.
