Directions
Step: 11 med packacge stew meat
1 small head green cabbage
1 can corn
1 can green beans (or more, if you're a green bean person!)
About 5 carrots, peeled, and coin-cut
1 can stewed tomotoes
About 4 stalks cut celery
1 can tomato sauce
Brown stew meat in pan with extra virgin olive oil. Cut up cabbage, celery, carrots, put in dutch oven or large pot with canned corn, grean beans, and canned tomatoes. Add browned beef and water to fill pot. Add tomato sauce. Put on high heat until boiling, then reduced to low heat. You may add beef boulion (2), salt, pepper, or other spices (I like Mrs. Dash!) to flavor. Cover, and simmer for about 45 min. Then uncover and simmer another 15 min. This is my favorite soup and I never tire of it! If you don't care about carbs, add about 6-7 red potatoes in small cubes, following same directions. Some prefer more meat, more corn, etc. Make it to your taste! Enjoy! This keeps for a week in the fridge!
