Black Pepper Steak w/hollandaise
|Name||Black Pepper Steak w/hollandaise|
|If you love ground pepper this is great. Alot of flavor for little effort.|
|4 thin steaks (any kind I use london broil and slice is thin at an angle).
1/4 to 1/2 cup ground black pepper
2 egg yolks
dash cayenne pepper (optional)
1T lemon juice
1/2 cup butter, melted
|Step: 1||Coat each piece of steak with garlic/pepper mixture. Broil on each side for 5 minutes. You do not want to overcook and dry meat out.
When steak is just about done add egg yolk, cayenne, and lemon juice to blender. Blend slightly. Heat margarine until bubbly not brown. Slowly pour butter in to egg mixture while blending on low speed. Blend just until thickened.
Serve hollandaise over steak, it takes out some of the spiceyness.
