Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

NameChicken and Broccoli Alfredo
You could always add some penne pasta on the side for the rest of your family. I work at the Olive Garden and got their alfredo sauce recipe. The only difference is this one doesn't have flour to thicken it. It doesn't need it. Hope you enjoy.

Alfredo Sauce:
1 pint heavy whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp pepper
6 oz grated parmesean cheese
Step: 1Mix all the ingredients except the cheese in a sauce pan and cook over medium heat until simmers. After it starts simmering, add the parmesean cheese. Turn heat down to low/med and let cook while you prepare the brocolli and chicken. Hint: Use very fine shredded cheese. It melts alot easier and is more creamier.

Cook about 3 cups of cut up broccoli. Cook about 1 1/2 lbs of chicken breast in a skillet with butter and garlic. Cut into 1 inch pieces. Combine chicken, broccoli, and Alfredo sauce.
