Meatball-Mushroom Stoup

1 pound ground beef
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1 large egg
Mix & brown in 1 Tbsp. olive oil
Place meatballs in a deep casserole.To frying pan add;
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 clove chopped garlic
Brown lightly then add to casserole
In the same pan add:
10 oz.can beef broth
10 oz. can mushroom soup
2 tbsp. tomato paste
Step: 1Stir well then bring just to the boil; pour over meatball mixture.
1/2 cup sliced carrots
1/4 cup sliced or cubed turnips{optional}
2 cups button mushrooms
Stir to combine;cover.
Place in a preheated 325 degree oven & slowly bake for at least 2 hours.
If the sauce is too runny mix up 2 T. whole wheat flour with a little water & stir into the stoup.Return to the oven until it bubbles again....about 15 minutes.
Serve with a low carb salad.
